A Brief History of the Management
Little Flower CBSE Innovative School is a Catholic (Christian) Minority Institution established and administered by the Society of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, Hyderabad, under the article 30(1) according to the Constitution of India.
The Society was founded in 1914 in Nalgonda Dist. T.G. by Rev. Fr. Silvio Pasquali PIME to spread the light of Christ through various charitable activities. The objectives of the Management are the culmination of the various qualities of its founder to eradicate poverty, social injustice, oppression and ignorance among the rural masses, which is the mission of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann.
The management has extended its services to 15 districts of T.G. & A.P. and also in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala in India, as well as in Italy and Tanzania of North Africa. It is administering 65 educational institutions: 09 Colleges, 31 Hostels & Boardings, 05 Hospitals, 02 Day care centres, One Home for the aged, and 34 charitable projects. Around 60,600 students are being catered in these educational institutions.
Our Founder
Servant of God Father Silvio Pasquali (1864–1924) was an Italian missionary and the founder of the Catechist Sisters of Saint Ann congregation. Born in Cremona, Italy, he arrived in India in 1897 and established the religious order in 1914 in Mattampally, Nalgonda District, to serve rural communities and uplift the poor.
Life and Background
- Born: April 5, 1864, in Italy.
- Arrived in India: October 8, 1897, serving as a missionary under the PIME (Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions).
- Moved to Mattampally: in the Nalgonda district in 1902.
The Management
The C.S.A sisters are holistic in their mission and hence have concern for the welfare of the total person. With an enterprising nature of hard work and simple life and with passion for humanity, today the C.S.A Schools are the phenomenon pioneers in the field of education that offers education at various levels right from nursery class to X in state syllabus and in C.B.S.E.
The Society of Catechist sisters of St.Ann is headed by Superior General Rev. Sr. ROSE LINDA. The management works under two provinces - The Hyderabad Province and Guntur Province. The Hyderabad Province is headed presently by Rev. Sr. Nirmala U & Guntur Province by Rev. Sr. Maria Sundari K.
